Looking Back

Looking back on a few images from the first photography classes at the Art Institute, it’s kind of funny. I remember thinking these were the best images I had ever done, and at the time, I still think they were. Not really knowing what I wanted to shoot for a living and not really having any real purpose besides going out with my camera and taking pictures was great. That class was great and let me and everyone else explore their talents and to help us look at the world through a lens. That’s why I wanted to go to school for photography; see the world in a different and creative way, not just like the same old, same old. Anyway, please enjoy some oldies from my personal stash :).

Fat Boy Pen

My last day in the school studio…… I’m actually really sad about it if I think like that… None the less, today was surprisingly quick. Set up was like shooting a bottle and you all know how much I like bottles :). Quick two small strip soft boxes; one on each side, and a little fill with a white card and Ta Da, we have a beautiful Fat Boy Pen. Here’s a few small behind the scenes of just the lights and the 4×5…
